Valentine's Day
Our Sunday school class had a cookie decorating to celebrate Valentine's day. We had a great time watching the kids work so hard on making their cookies perfect. This was a fun way to spend valentine's day with our families!

Passey Fairy
Dylan is 2 1/2 now so we decided it was time for him to hand over the passey. Joshua had his until he was 3 and then gave them to Baby Dylan. We felt it was time to take it away from Dylan since he wants his all of the time. He talks so much and so well I get upset at him when he tries to tell us something with the passey in his mouth. Not to mention he look silly since he is a BIG 2 year old. My friend Courtney was telling me she took her daughter's blanket away by telling her the blanket fairy (or something like that) was coming. The fairy was going to give the blanket to the little babies. The fairy then leaves a surprise in exchange. ( I know, you are thinking you already know how this works!) Anyway! So I told Dylan while he was school the fairy was coming to take his passey and leave him a surprise. He packed his passey in a bag and left it on the chair. When he got home the passey was gone. He got a movie, some candy, and a Scooby doo toy. He was very excited! It took him over an hour to fall asleep for his first nap without the passey and we had a pretty long night last night. He has only asked for it a few times though. I think he just has to learn how to comfort himself now. He will be fine in a few days!
"Are you ready for some football?"
Every year my family uses the Super Bowl as an excuse to eat! Some of my family cares about the game but I am defiantly in it for the food. We had some friends of ours over Sunday night to watch the game and of course eat! We had a house full of kids. Well, it was only 6 kids but it seemed like way more! 4 boys and 2 girls sure do know how to exceed the "inside voice" meter. We did enjoy each other's company though and enjoyed all of the good food. Keri was smart enough to remember some of the commercials were going to be in 3D and brought some 3D glasses. It ended up being a later night than I expected and we all got to bed really late. I let Joshua sleep in a little and brought him to school about an hour late the next morning. I asked him when he got home if his teacher was glad he made it to school. He said yes and told me that he told his teacher he was late because his mom and dad had a party last night and we all slept in. Thanks Joshua. At least he told the truth!
